Are tyres on wheelchairs deflated before placing in the aircraft hold.?

I asked because I.m wondering whether it's neccessary to pack a tyre pump.

No, they aren't deflated. In fact,many airlines stock a "fly-away" kit in the lower holds of the aircraft. This kit (especially to out of the way destinations) of consists of various,easily replaced aircraft parts and at least one nose wheel and one main landing gear (MLG) tire, in case a flat tire is encountered at the pre-said out of the way airport. It's inflated with nitrogen to somewhere above 150 psi... depending on several factors...

I suspect your wheel chair inflates to about 12 to 20 psi...

Actually 45 psi Clanad.I asked the question because i wasn't sure whether baggage holds are pressurized same as passenger compartment. However I do think they are so not neccessary to deflate,

They are, the circular cross section of the main body of a plane is the pressure hull, so anything within the main body (including holds) is pressurised.
