dog ramps

anyone used or got a dog ramp (to help your dog(s) climb in and out of your car) and, if so, which do you and do you not recommend?

I was given one by a friend who's dog wouldnt use it. I didnt need it so gave it away to someone else, but dont think they have used it either TBH. No way could I see mine walking up one, but a lot of Collies dont like shiny floors let alone ramps,

I'm looking at these at present (jules, if yours is available I would be interested in buying it!).
If not I will get one made. I have a couple of old Heelers that struggle getting into and out of the van. I am sure you can make one cheaper than the commercial ones.

My husband made one for our dog - it was alot cheaper!

I was given one of the ramps lankeela has posted about, after my neighbours son lost his rotty, Max doesn't particlarly like it but he uses it. Its well made and quite capable of being used by large dogs even though it is quite heavy

L, I will ask my friend about it, if she doesnt need it, I will get it back and bring to LKA for you. It was brand new when I had it, but had been stored in the shed for a few years. I dont want anything for it.

We got one for our old lady and it was brilliant for her. You needed tohave a good healthy back to use it though and it didn't fit in my then car. happily where I used to take her, there were earth banks in the car park that you could back up to.
