My dog loves playing with her mates and poking around in bushes and generally doing her best to hunt, but she is constantly losing her identity tag. I bought the last one in Jollye's only a week ago and it's gone.
Do any companies supply tags with strong connections, or tags that go around the collar instead of on the collar ring?
Thanks a lot.

What about getting it chipped?

She is chipped, but the law says she has to have an ID tag. I surmise from your earlier posts that you seem to live in NI, so you'll know that dogs here have to be licensed and wear the licence disc also.
She is black, so she wears a LED flashing light when she's out in the dark.
What about a collar with a small metal plate riveted onto it? You could have the ID engraved onto that.

Great site and just what I wanted. Have ordered for her.
Many thanks.
:-)) ... and you can move it to a new collar if you need to.
How much is the license fee in NI? I remember paying my 37½ when I got my first dog - a farcical amount.

It's a fiver now. For that you get a little blue disc with a number stamped on it.

Then it falls off!
Seriously, I don't know why this licensing law doesn't apply to the rest of the UK.
