My 16 week old kitten can now jump over the extra tall pet gate I bought to stop him getting out my front door when I come in and out...
What else can I use to keep them away from the front door??
Hallway is too wide to fit another standard door and now the pet gate is too short...
Please help...
Thanks :)

I think that baby gates come in all shapes and sizes. Can you use something to increase the height of the gate?

I have a similar problem with my two thugs. I have to tie the inner door shut when I go out. If I don't the inner door opens when the front door is opened and they bolt for freedom. I live in the city centre so they wouldn't get very far and the road outside is busy.

Don't you think that it's time maybe to let him out anyway. It will happen and if it's 4 months then it will happen soon. Can you go out with him? How busy are the roads nearby?Wouldn't a water pistol just make him terrified to go outside or is that what you want?
