Baby teeth
7 Answers
Did you know that you loose 20 baby teeth (I always thought it was just a couple at the front) - the 10 year old has just been down with one of the bigger back teeth flapping around and now he's worried about going to sleep in case he swallows it! Had to send my husband to deal with it as the boy has waggled it around so much he has made it bleed (yeuch!).

My 10 year old has still only lost the front 8 (4 top and 4 bottom) but my 9 year old has lost and replaced 12. Neither of them have lost any molars yet so I guess they may have them until their teens at this rate. I don't know what the tooth fairy brings to lumping great teenagers ;o)
The going rate is £1 (but this got upped for boy one when one of his teeth fell out by itself and half an hour later boy two 'knocked' another loose one out), daughter one lost her first one on Friday - I have trouble getting the tooth fairy to remember to visit at all (who can remember anything at bedtime?).
I think it is £1 Naz. That must be about £20 by the time they have lost all of them. How many baby teeth are there? I didn't get anything when I was young, they only invented the Tooth Fairy a short time ago. I used to put a sixpenny piece (old money) under my children's pillows although I reckon that was a bit pricey.
