Well, a very busy day today. Rehomed the last kitten & taken in, two lovely brothers who's owner dosn't want anymore cos he's got a dog now! Both very frightened & left them in their pen togeather both facing the wall!! Also a beautiful 1yr tabby who they named Stupid! he's now called Stuart! who just wanted to cuddle & sit on your lap,& an 11yr old black cat with skin problems. Had some good news, our longest resident Tess is going to be rehomed in 2 weeks when her new owners come back from their hols.Also. Rudolph who came to us the week up to Xmas has been reunited this week with his owner.

well done, I think it is just wrong that people can discard animals for such selfish reasons kat, when you know they are being badly treated it is usually the case that the owners refuse to give them up, but if they just dump them on you because of a change of lifestyle then it's wrong. I know now just how much effort peoplr like you put into the rescue and re-homing, it;s brilliant,
Stupid is a good name for a cat - my Princess Merlin is sometimes called Princess Stupid - she really is pretty vacant and thick.
I can't foresee any circumstance in which I would get rid of my two idiots - but people do so with such ease. A cat is not a possession but some people just don't understand how honoured we should be that a cat lives with us and allows us to look after their needs. Having said that - some people readily disown their own children. (which is something I understand).
