Hello, and welcome to the fifth edition of "Twitchers, Ornithologists & Feathered Friend Fanciers".
As usual the previous issues of this illustrious thread are located below.
Do any of you go on regular bird-watching trips? If so, what do you normally take along with you? I understand that you'd need binoculars and a flask of tea, but are there any other bird-watching "essentials" that you just cannot do without?
Nice sighting ttfn, Buzzards are pretty big Birds as well. It's a great hobby Birdwatching no matter which Season as each has its merits. Summer is probably the nicest as you can have a Picnic whilst watching the Birds.
Better still, red, just wander out the back door with a glass of something and enjoy the many birds in the country. We were able to see the remarkable plumage, wonderful markings. Last year I was able to train one of the resident robins to feed on meal worms from my hand - magical. In the end he would stand in my palm and take his time to eat his fill. I thank the lord for the patience with which I was blessed.
So nice ttfn ! How some people can be cruel to our feathered friends is beyond me, life would be so much poorer without our wildlife and beautiful Countryside.
Many thanks Ed for this welcome sub-section and I'm pretty sure it will prove very popular with the Bird Enthusiasts on here.
Thanks again ! You can start drinking now ttfn !! Well I think all of us can !!! lol
