Redman, we had this happen to us. Perhaps I should have taken a photo for the press. It was amazing - I let is stay there for ages. We never found an injured owl.

Something to do with the substance in the Feathers Lottie as far as I can make out.
Would have made a good story in your local Paper if you had reported it !

Didn't think of it Redman. It was quite amazing to see.

We have a family of young goldcrests at the moment. Had to evict one from our conservatory at 5.30am Sunday morning. It was so exhausted it just stepped onto my finger when I put it under his chest. I put him outside and he recovered after about ten minutes and joined his siblings. So, so tiny. Britain's smallest birds.

Yep, Mum and Dad partridge proudly brought their brood of 12 across our front garden yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous.
