Blackbird Wars

Tha blackbird wars have started in my garden. They are so busy chasing each other away that they don't get a chance to eat the food I put out for them. Spring must be on its way.

The birds are just starting to sing here in the early mornings

I think the 'This is my territory' thing has started already.

Ours have paired up already. Don't think the males are chasing the females away unless they're just not ready yet .
I'll bet they're as fed up of this weather as I am.

We have males chasing males. They are very aggressive. So are the robins

I was going to say everything under the sun is as fed up with the weather Graham>Everything under the dismal sky. (There's about 6 pairs of blackbirds here but they only squabble over food)
