Thursday. Wet 'n windy out there this morning. Not very nice at all.

I was going to Bristol to look at a boat today. Got a hospital appointment instead. With this weather I don't mind so much.

A mate borrowed my jump leads yesterday. Somehow he managed to melt them!
Never seen that before. He's only had the car a short while and he's had nothing but trouble with it. He was taking it back, it obviously didn't want to go!

Morning boaty xxxx all quiet on your front so far ....we're enjoying (not) another hot spell ....36+ for the past few days !!

Never heard of melted jumper leads before ....daren't ask just what he was doing but hope he'll replace them for you !

They were brand new too! He will replace them. I reckon he connected them the wrong way, I didn't think to ask if he'd ever used them before. Well I think he does know now!

Morning Boaty & Seekz. Trust both are well..

Trying to jump start a a car from another with a much smaller battery, or a car that needs heaps of amps via small leads will melt them.

Seen it happen in the past.

Afternoon oz. Similar sized cars. I reckon he hooked them up the wrong way. + to - instead of + to + that will do it too.

seekz I hope they feel the same way. :o} I've dropped a lot of the things I did as it was getting ridiculous, I was never home, sometimes four meetings on the same day. So I have the time now to do the things I want to do.

Only 38c at the moment Seekz, makes a change from high 40's low fifties.

The mornings are getting cooler, had a jumper on for 20 mins or so this morning.

Wont be long before I'm winging how cold the nights and mornings are ;-)

That's a regular thing here oz. whinging about the weather. 'It's too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, too windy, too cloudy, too misty, can't win! :o}

The wind is out of bed. The bin has just blown over...again! It's way past dawn but as black as a witch's hat, except for a wee line along a bit of the hilltop. It's looking like a quick dash to get the necessary and back to batten down the hatches!

Just as long as she gets some R&R - been working long hours and getting to look tired. She definitely needs a few days away and as her birthday is a few weeks after mine, we chose a date in between the 2 to have a break
