Ha ha choux, I’ve seen those red legged blackbirds on Anglesey, and also the yellow legged ones up a mountain in Austria. Was choughed then too ;)

vagus; This is the website, I have so far reported the pair of redstarts, a pair of ruddy shelducks, & the pair of mute swans & their 4 cygnets (which are growing at a rate of knots) on the river by my village.

Do you not usually get mute swans in Germany? We saw a fair few in Sweden.
I’ve just checked my bird book and realise we saw black redstarts in both Germany and France a fair few years ago, had completely forgotten.
