Vagus,I had an x-ray, the remaining stump ground down, a protective substance put on the remaining root and an impression taken. £70.

Tomorrow, I shall have a temporary one tooth denture fitted. £200. Thanks for asking.

I had to have a temporary plate with two teeth on it, Tilly. Couldn't get along with it at all so stopped wearing it and put up with the gap. I now have two implants there, cost an arm and a leg but worth it.

Well, I have my one tooth denture and it looks very nice. It's a perfect match for my own teeth and I look presentable again.

It feels very odd, quite tight and I can't talk properly. The dentist told me to keep talking so that my tongue would become accustomed to the alien thing in my mouth.

I found I dribbled when I had mine in, and couldn't eat properly. I just stopped smiling for a couple of months until the implants could be done. I'm glad you're happy with yours though 😁
