this has always confused me. in the bit of the mummy where rachel weisz is in her bed and the mummy, imhotep, kisses her. why does his face start to disintegrate?? thanks

his face is not fully formed as he needs more life force from people, that he gets later so he can fully form. hope this helps. loved the movie too

I cant remember exactly but part of him may have caved in...he has not fully regenerated
