Thrush/ Cystitus
3 Answers
I've never had thrush before but have had cystitus.
I thought I had cystitus 2 weeks ago so brought medication.
It didn't work so after 2 days went to the doctor and gave me antibiotics.
After 5 days they hadn't worked and went back to the doctor who said I had thrush as my vagina was itchy.
However I've never heard of pain while passing urine as thrush, or is it? Or have I got thrush and cystitus?
My doctor did a urine sample and found some blood in my urine but said thats as was in between menstrual cycles so I dont think he believed me about pain when urinating.
Anyway I've had these symptons 2 weeks now and have taken every medicine possible. Anyone got any advice?
I've been on pill for 8 years so could this be a side effect?
I know probably best to go doctor but I'm scared..

Why not go to a GUM clinic and get them to check you out if you're not happy with what the doctor has done or suggested?
