Still worth a look if it appeals to you http://www.thewebbroa...ation.com/swt/swt.php
although more often than not, the nest may be empty. There is a youngster shouting for food at the moment! It looks as if the amazing mother bird has indeed flown, she's not been seen for 2 days now so they think she's started south - after her terrible illness, that is just incredible to imagine. The chicks are full grown but not yet fishing, dad does that for another couple of weeks before they all set off for their wintering grounds. It's certainly been a privilege to watch this little family this year - and hard to remember, as we can see them so closely, that they are indeed very wild birds, living with no human intervention at all. The wardens at Loch of the Lowes have been wonderful, big applause for them - their turns of phrase on the blogs have been moving and beautifully descriptive.

What highs and lows we've witnessed there this year! BTW the youngster is showing on CAM2, you can't see it on CAM1, it must be perched just outside of camera view.
I started watching when The Lady was ill and I still look in 4-5 times a day just to keep up to date and it's been totally fascinating viewing, I was amazed at how wide spread the viewers were, there were people all over the world willing the old gal to recover and when I was lucky enough to see No1 chick take off for his maiden flight I cheered as if I'd won the lottery. I'll have mixed feelings when I log in one day and found they've all left the loch then it will be a long wait till spring to see who comes back
