You may have noticed there is a wedding of sorts on today. If you'd like to natter about it please do so here. This should avoid different "shifts" starting separate Royal Wedding threads.

Is everyone enjoying their day off?

Absolutely Ed. Is it too early to open the plonk do you think?

Hope you have your morning suit on ready to nip over to WA now you've sorted us all out.
Today is history in the making and I'm gutted to be working in a vicinity that has no access to a TV or radio. I've asked my mother to record it, but it just won't be the same.

As for all the scorn that has been poured upon this momentous occasion - I cannot fathom why everyone is so anti-Monarchy. The feel-good factor alone that this wedding has generated is enough to justify all the pomp and ceremony. Today, I am justifiably proud to be British.
It's never too early BM. Jem posted she'd opened hers earlier :)

No Barmaid, get your plonk out!

I hope it ends well, it'd be awful if one of them had a change of heart at the last moment.

Already got my seat actually, who knew WA would have Wifi?

Terrible NoM! You must send one of the staff out to fetch you one!

I think you can watch it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13132410

Due to technical issues though, I've been unable to load it to check for you.

Spare Ed
I'm not Anti or Pro Royal but my TV and even my Radio are going to remain switched off until this evening. There will be more than enough coverage on this evenings News and that's enough for me. I'll be out for part of the day at the Bookmakers and shopping. Hope everyone else enjoys the spectacle !
Haha i had a dream last night that Kate wore jeans and a navy jumper Haha
My 24 year old son has got up early to watch it all, he says Kate is 'fit' and he seems to know an awful lot about her, her family, and the days events, he seems to be smitten!
My colleague/drinking buddy and I are thinking of popping down to the Day Case Unit about half ten-ish. They've got a widescreen telly there. ;-)
How's it going to work, Ed? People are already posting about so many different aspects of the event - if we put it all in one thread, the responses are going to get very confusing.
Tara P. T. nose is horrendous!
Well if you're already in the Abbey, give Victoria Beckham a kick and tell the sour faced cow to smile.
The Ed is going for the Record amount of replies to a Post in the History of AB !
Go for it Ed !!! ha ha
I don't think that anyone who's not interested in today's events is necessarily anti-royal. There are many different feelings. I'm not anti or pro. I've got the telly on in the background, but I don't feel excited or feel-good......ooh, there's Tara with her new nose and a hat that's taller than her!
VB is probably jealous that this wedding is more anticipated and spectacular than her's was.
wow how chic does Victoria Beckham look? Black for a wedding, especially a spring wedding, doesn't always work, but well done her, David looks abit slick though, he's still hot however, and how much like Prince Harry does Earl Spencer's son look?
Suezy - it's gross! Love her dress and hat, but her nose is terrible.
oh dear could tara palmer tomkinson have gone for a hat that didnt shout out 'look at my nose'
Rowen Atkinson looked like he really did not want to be there? A smile never cracked his face, hope he lightens up.
how could any girl say yes to william when david beckham is sat behind you.
