Everyone knows that the Sun newspaper has a weekly "Where are they now" column to find long lost friends and relatives sometimes stretching back almost half a century. However the circulation of this paper does not compare to the members present here on the AnswerBank, and this is why I have the following suggestion to make.

I would like to suggest that we have a "Where are they now" column like in the Sun, but here on the AB site. I hope that others here agree with me, and more importantly the Editor will take me up on this sensible suggestion.

Are you talking about a missing persons type of thing? Not just people missing from AB.

And yogi and pericat?

This suggestion won't fly tho jonny.
and tony ted and Caramint [not sure of spelling]
oooh Cupid, I've been racking my brains, isn't caramint (sp, too!!) that nice lady from the Isle of Man or Wight??
I sometimes wonder what happened to Shergar and Lord Lucan.
Lord Lucan spent a few years under the bed in my spare room :)
could we have a " who are they now " column ? :)
Shergar, probably pet food, don't know about Lucan, he could be an aber,
you never know!
Hi, I'm here. But I don't like the idea very much - there would be privacy problems. Unless we had an area where I could see your usernames, but other users couldn't; anonymous on submission for example.

It'd be interesting to have a "missed connections" kind of thing.

All the best,

Lord Lucan.
He's ↑ lying, he's Shergar really.
missed connections ????

wassat den?
It's an age thing .....I am missing connections.!!

so what would be the default judgment for the jelly men, hot or not?
Anne...I'm afraid to say anymore in case my remarks are wrongly interpreted. Shall I just intimate that despite my sometimes pretending in the columns of AB to be macho man, I am really an old softie.!! :-)

Marval is right. I mean people missing from real life, and not just from the AnswerBank. Anyone here can leave at any time without giving a reason, if they want to leave the best site in the world, that is. I would like to know where some of my friends are, but have not found them on Friends Reunited. Editor, if you are reading this then can we have a Where are they now column, please?

Thanks in advance for your help.
because its a QUESTION AND ANSWER site...not a genealogy, missing persons site etc

lots of places online for your suggestion
joko we have a terrifically well suscribed genealogy sub -topic over there<<<<<<<<
