Enlarging text/changing font on received emails.
11 Answers
Know this is a very basic question but despite trying various permutations
Iam unable to succeed so hopefully some kind person will tell me how and what to click to get the following...
I often receive emails too small to read and sent from Iphones to my PC.I need to know firstly how to enlage the text and also to change the colour font.
I do know how to change size and font for sending an email but the receiving and wanting to change what I get through before printing is the issue.I have also noticed that when I do print it appears to print slightly smaller than what appears on the screen. So like a size 14 on the screen would print out at a 12.
Many thanks for all help.I have windows Xp if that matters.

My comment was to jno because she was unsure why emails received were all in different sizes/fonts.
How do you read your emails via Webmail or pick them up by using an email client?

I don't know if this applies to your set-up but if you use Outlook Express and Internet Explorer then the size of the printed font from Outlook Express is controlled in Internet Explorer.
In I.E., go to VIEW, TEXT SIZE and click "largest". Now print your e-mail and it will print with a larger font.
Hope this helps.

HI, As far as I know Internet Explorer (your browser) only does what I suggested about the "printing large" with Microsoft's Outlook Express E-mail program as they both work together.
It doubt if it will do it with AOL. I've never used AOL as i understand that it takes over everything in sight.
Sorry it didn't work for you but if you ever try O.E. for your mail then you'll know what to do as I know it does work with I.E.
I also use Win XP as they seem to spend years on newer programs sending updates before they get it working OK.
Anyway, Best of luck and I hope you soon sort out what you want to do.
Wak.
