How can I change my avatar?

My profile says my avatar is shown, but actually AB shows the generic avatar. How do I change that?

Do you use the same email address for Gravatar and AB?

I didn't change it. I didn't do anything. But suddenly my profile has nric avatar.

Maybe your avatar has been deemed inappropriate by the Ed? One was removed recently for that reason. Might be worth emailing the Ed

I'm assuming you used to have an avatar on AB

It says your avatar is banned on your profile is it has been banned.

Have you changed the email address on your profile, if you have it will no longer link to gravatar until you add a matching email address on gravatar.

Have you gone onto Edit profile and checked that you avatar is active (the box is ticked)?

My avatar was only a pic of a couple of jam tarts. Feel it unlikely that Ed would disallow that. I did change my email add in March. Have gone into edit profile to change avatar, but cannot seem to make progress

2. Are you using the same email address on both?
3. Did you rate the avatar on Gravatar as a G?
