em, that's a good idea I suppose but it's been pointed out that the Japanese flag was there when the tsunami happened :-(

The USA gets terribly upset about people not respecting their flag. Some clothes designer was actually prosecuted for using the stars and stripes as a lining of a coat. We are much more laid back about the Union Jack, which you can have made into knickers if you want, and Brits will just laugh.
Why not use a pic of the famous dusty lady survivor ?

Hi Bobbisox ....I feel sure the Ed could display the Stars and Stripes on Sunday instead of the London Bus. However , if he wants to keep a bus as the AB motif, perhaps for the occasion it should be an American one.
