Hopefully not.

and why?
I hope it's never...sorry but they're too annoying.
Question Author
haha, Robinia have you been on somewhere that uses them?
I haven't, are they that bad?
They're annoying....
Question Author
so you think EDs snow is annoying?
Oh god no...............I've been on a site that uses them and when you get a few on one page it totals your eyes.
Question Author
never seen them in action tbh
I have been on forums that use them and I find them irritating, especially when people choose bright flashing colour ones
The snow can't really be compared to animated avatars really, can it?
Question Author
not even gentle rain, sun or snow...eh?
arh well :-(
Isolated animated avatars are fine but to have a page full of moving avatars on a page with animated advertising would be migrainous..
for it to not be irritating, you have to rely on everyone to choose "gentle" animations which unfortunately is doubtful
Yes, as craft says once you get several on one page it's a mess.
Same goes for smileys, we don't need them.
Can anyone remember how we coped before the avatars??
a good point jack, you also have to factor in the advertising around the pages as well, it makes a toxic mix, verd hard on the eyes imo..
*very
Question Author
good point cazzz, bad idea :-(
