Could we not have a special topic where we could thank other contributors for their help where they have solved technical probs for us and they would know that it worked.

If I have a particularly helpful answer I try to remember to say thank you within that thread and hope that the person concerned sees it. Also can rate the A using the stars.

Hi netibizia - Like silly moo, I always try to thank people individually, but more often than not, when I have received sufficient answers, I post: Thank you all.

I made a similar suggestion some time ago but the consensus seemed to be that it would only clog up the site.  I still think it's a good idea though. Also to check currency of answers given.

We are not considering a 'thank you' category at present, but to reiterate what Silly Moo has said, you can thank people in the relevent thread as well as rating their answers.
