The Happy Friday thread
66 Answers
It's Friday afternoon - the best bit of the working week.
Random Friday thread - have you had a good week? What have you achieved? What plans do you have for the weekend?
So as not to exclude those who have had a bad week or don't want to talk about it, here is my contribution to cheering those of you up.
Go on then, fill yer boots.

It's not been too bad. I'm off up to the deepest darkest north (well the midlands I think actually, Sleaford?) tomorrow as my nephew is being baptised on Sunday and in her infinite wisdom my sister has asked his atheist aunt (moi) to be his god-mother, I'm think it's more a 'she can look after my kid, I trust her... sort of' type thing. Looking forward to seeing sis and baby but could do without the snooze factor of church or the evening with my mum and step-dad this evening prior to the drive up tomorrow. And then I'm back Sunday and have Monday off to recover from so many of my immediate family in the same 3ft of each other...

You have no idea mate... tonight will be spent with my mother telling me what a bunch of muppets my extended family are in regards to my grandads care while I nod and keep the bottle of wine handy. The drive up tomorrow had better not include any hyms (mum and step-dad both sing/play instrument in their church choir and are very in to it) or I will step out of a moving car on whatever motorway we happen to be on... then I'll meet my dad who makes me look positively sociable and amicable with his Mrs who is very nice but gets very nervous on big occasions to the point where she can't stop talking (as in OCD talking, not just normal jibber jabbering like I do)... and then finally it's baby sister on whatever annoying thing my mother has done recently (there will be a list), why middle sister is being such a cow and how various members of her other halves family are getting on her tits (all expressed with much use of the 'c' word)..... My ears will be bleeding by Sunday night.
