Blocked Hotmail account

Anyone know how to get Hotmail to respond? My a/c was blocked before Xmas after something got in & sent a load of spam. After it was blocked, I tried to sign & was told to send a mobile no. & I would be sent a code to use. Despite doing this several times, I have not been sent a code. For the last two days, when I have tried again all I get is "there is a problem, you need to signin again." Of course, signing in is the problem. I have got friends to send messages from their a/cs to the Hotmail help centre (giving my a/c name & phone) and they haven't received any response either. Many tks any advice.
