This has been put forward before,  but would it be possible to perhaps have a link to all new questions on AB raised, say, in the last 24 hours.

There are so many interesting questions and answers and often they are missed by people who would like to see them, but simply haven't got time to trawl through all topic sections.  Also, some questions are relevant to several topics e.g. Music, Adverts, Film and TV, or Body and Soul and People and Places.

It may not be technically possible, but I am sure if it were it would be a popular link.

You could have a latest questions section displaying the last 50 questions, that you could not post on then if you wanted to post you would have to go to that category. Shouldn�t be that hard for the AB experts FP

FP - I do recall someone asking a similar question some time back & I thought it was a brilliant suggestion then. Alas, nothing came it, but we live in hope......!

great idea FP, i've suggested this ages ago, and it was ignored! Great minds think alike, eh?! It would be so much easier than trauling through all the categories every time I log on.

Ed....are you gonna answer any of these questions??

A pretty pink comments box has just appeared on my country of origin thread, but alas it isn't a positive one! N'er mind eh?

FP - I requested by e-mail, for the AB Ed to remove my country of origin suggestion & thankfully he/she has.

I expressed that even though others agreed it was a good idea, yourself included, the suggestion fell on deaf ears. I shan't bother again.

But I'm sorry you removed your suggestion, smudge - just because it wasn't accepted (and I disagreed with it myself) doesn't mean it wasn't a valid idea, and I think you could have left it on site so others could look at it if the subject came up again. Now, if anyone does raise the proposal again, they'll have no idea that it's been considered before and brought a series of responses for and against.

jno - Yes I know you opposed my suggestion & amazed to read that you thought it was a valid one! The reason I e-mailed the Ed to remove it, was because if you look back on AB Suggestions under Country of Origin - you will see that I'd asked several times before.

But d'ya know what - I really couldn't give a monkey's - this is only a Q&A site, not a life & death situation! Oh & I don't like chocolate cake anyway - never have! Now a slice of home made Date & walnut........
