T-Mobile Sidekick - UK Compatible?

Hello. I currently use T-Mobile UK and Orange UK Contract Sim cards. I am thinking about buying a Sidekick II, the 'Danger' model, with built-in camera. However some people have told me this item works in the UK, others have said it doesnt. Please, please can somebody tell me if it does work or not, so that I can buy one (or not) Thanks in Advance guys!
