Site not taking any notice when I 'Unsubscribe'
I belonged to a site that I paid a subscription to. A couple of weeks ago I decided to stop using the site and informed the company of my decision.
Since then I've been inundated with email requests to rejoin, but not just the original site but it's sister companies as well. Each time I got an email I ticked the 'unsubscribe' box at the bottom of their communication, and each time my wishes were ignored. The situation is getting ridiculous and I must have ticked a couple of dozen 'unsubscribe' boxes.
I've even emailed the company, who say it won't happen again, but it does repeatedly.
It might sound trivial and perhaps I should ignore them but what can I do?

I had this and reported the company to the ico. They made contact and it all stopped ( eventually). See the link here to contact them when you continue to receive mail after unsuscribing .

I should have said that the ico can only regulate UK sites. If they are none UK then do MASS says and ignore them totally.
Unfortunately I have plenty of spam from a US site, 5/8 per day and can do nothing to stop it. Even senidng them to the spam folder doesn't work because they change their host email address each day. I just delete and ignore them now but I'd love to get rid somehow.
