How can i stop my friends from drifting away?
16 Answers
I have 2 best friends and recently they have been really annoying me, i don't want to loose them but whenever i'm with them it feels like their pushing me away. Then whenever i'm with other people they make me feel like i'm over-reacting and being pathetic. Also when i'm with other people i just feel out of place. I feel like my friends are getting bored of me so they're going off with other people, ignoring me and just trying to get rid of me. I don't want to loose the only people that have ever been real friends to me but now they're making me feel like friends don't exist, please help, i don't know what to do thanks

I presume you are still young,as you go through life you will lose and gain many friends.there are many reasons for this, starting at school where you will have most friends, when you start work your circle of friends will drop, even more so when you marry and start a family,so you will have gone from 50 to 10,As you get older this circle go even smaller, until you retire when you meet new and old friends
i admit i may be a bit annoying at times but every friend is! I've seen lots of people fall out and become friends again and i don't want to give up on trying to fix it but i don't know how i can fix it if i don't want to be around them. i'm just trying to pretend that its ok but they know i'm annoyed. i don't want to loose them because they're the only people i'm really close to and without them i feel like i have nobody. i just want things to go back to normal but i dont feel like i can talk to them about anything like i used too, they usually just take the mick! :(
I had what I thought was a very good friend. We always had a laugh, got on well and went to loads of places together and visited each others home for meals and so on. Then suddenly I felt she'd changed towards me, but tried to ignore it and carry on as normal, but we were seeing each other less and less and when she, once again, couldn't be bothered making an effort to meet up, I realised that this particular friendship had come to an end, as friendships do occasionally. So I let it go and never see her now. I miss her sometimes, but I have other friends and just put it down to experience.
