Has anything been done regarding my suggestion of a quick way to capture past posts from the archives?

Would it also be possible at the end of the year to post a selection of ABer's threads that have a bearing on the happenings of the past year?

Perhaps it could be called, "AnswerBank's kaleidoscope of 2012".

Interesting responses to the top news stories throughout the year.

Eg. there were some interesting responses prior to the oncoming Olympics, and look how successful that all turned out to be.

don't you just put your search terms in the bar at the top?

It's a nice thought aog. However, I think the Ed has enough on his plate and could Not examine in detail the thousands of questions and answers which are annually submitted to AB. I would even go so far as to say that his work is 'cut-out' if only keeping an eye on postings from folk such as you and me.

I guess it would be a whole new job at AB Towers to prepare an analysed archive. If I want to look back on a topic, I just pop suitable words in the search box and they all come up. I don't know that I'd use a back index.
