How did it end up on the roof though? He must have thrown it up there unless it was excessively windy and blew up there on it's own.
If it had been my parcel and house they would have needed a much longer ladder, our houses are very tall for a 2 storey building.

According to one report I read the MyHermes driver was trying to throw the parcel over the roof into the back garden as the garden could not be accessed from the front of the house and he didn't know how to find the back entrance.

That being so he should have left a note saying "your parcel could not be delivered please phone for other arrangements" Sheer stupidity in my book.
