Last night, a pal and I drove up to Chislehurst in Kent ...

(you see ... venturing north again!)

... to see Samantha Fish.

A phenomenal blues rock guitarist and singer, from Kansas City, playing a few dates in the UK.

The week is still young, and there could be more nominations (or is it nearly the weekend? I'm not too sure) ... but this is was definite contender for Gig Of The Week.

I wish I'd known that. I could've passed myself off as having a bit of local knowledge.

Where did I start from? Why, Brighton of course, silly. The little pitty patting heartbeat town of the nation. The centre of all things fab and jolly.
