How can being young, female and a SNP MP, means she is disadvantaged in three ways?

Maybe disadvantage in one way but never three.

Why not all three?

1. Young people are often patronised for their lack of experience despite their ability.
2. Parliament is often said to ge run like a Gentlemans Club.
3. She is in a minority party that is not part of the Government or main Opposition Party. She has little influence or power.

She didn't mention her sexuality so I assume she doesn't feel disadvantaged there, so some progress is being made

I find it amazing how some folk look and find something derogatory where chances are none exist. Endearing labels are meant to be friendly; and folk will be enquiring how things are with someone who is so young and in such a responsible position. Its the sort of position where this sort of thing should be like "water off a duck's back". MPs can't afford to, "sweat the small stuff", as some say these days.

Mhairi Black wasn't generally whinging. She was talking to other women at a conference, about her experiences. And I am sure her speech contained more than this one sentence.
Without any context of what was said before and after the sentence, the report is at best unintelligible, and at worst, possibly misleading.
