This raises them with a mature attitude towards drinking, and you don't get the problems that we have here. Although let me be the first to say that I think the problem is hugely exaggerated in the UK.
But yes, it does seem to be a given that everyone has children. I also encounter very often (although perhaps only from a few people in particular) that until you've had children yourself, you're too immature to have a valid opinion on anything. Not true I feel.
I hope you're having nicer weather on the continent than we are here. This time last year I was starting my Masters in Hamburg. It was SO cold there, but the weather was always beautiful. Here, it's just grey... again!!!
A regret: why january-bug but let us have to wade through all that rubbish to find it, are you unable to post a link? Now that is immature as you are wasting our time, sorry.
Another point, why do I not deserve stars, cat woman?
Don't the English let their children have water with their dinner. What do they drink? Tea?
As for wine here, I haven't met parents letting their children have wine with their meal (of course I'm talking about under 11s and thereabouts).
Well by calling me immature and a time-waster. You know exactly who I was referring to, and I was trying to make a point without a direct bitching.
I'm so confused, and frankly fairly upset about this/by you. I wish you'd told me first what was going on. :-(
Hopefully things will be ok tomorrow. :-)
