Whilst I think that offering this would help calculate the number of deceased people doesn't help the relatives and, after all, they were here illegally.

It's a dilemma sure enough , full amnesty to all who were living or subsequently claim to have been living there seems too broad a stroke.

A year to recover and reconsider their future sounds a reasonable start.

Each case should then be assessed on its merits.

Of course a total amnesty should Be Allowed, and whilst we're there maybe a whole country amnesty could come into being as well as a total amnesty and entrance for all those in the calais jungle, for the familys and friends of all the victims globally who have died crossing seas and rivers to get to our noble land and why should we stop there?

We could bring in a law that states we're scrapping the bedroom tax and those with spare rooms have to give it up to immigrants or risk being evicted themselves.

Scrap a bank holiday and enforce a "Hug a former terrorist/foreign criminal" day!

Sorry about the rant and i'm all for intergration within reasonable means but Merkel has gotten right up my nose recently with her wild card thinking and zany off the wall ideas.

Even though they have many opposing ideas i really think angela and donald are a match made in heaven.

Not a decision I would like to make - but as advised, i think each case should be decided on its own merits, circumstances are different, and a blanket solution is not helpful.

Wasn't this question asked on a earlier thread ? No, no reasonable excuse to give anyone an amnesty. Sent them back to wherever the came from. Or drop them off nearby to where they seem to have come from.

If you are somewhere where you are expressly forbidden to be, and a life threatening incident occurred, then the consequences do not mitigate your illegal presence.

I thought the amnesty was for those subletting. Take their names off the council list but don't prosecute if they provide details of the people they were subletting to. It's the only chance of having a real idea of how many have died and who they are.

The people renting have families who need to know if they are alive or dead.
