Thought the belt was rather tight.
Unless tomorrow shows that it was a freak scale failure today, I don't think I'll be updating Wednesday. I'll need to start from a scratch baseline, and/or even maybe decide whether it is all worth it at all.

Good morning all, why don’t you start with the new weight OG. I’ve been in hospital with a heart that was beating too fast and was out of rhythm. It’s fine now but my intake of liquids has been lowered much to my horror so I’m starting here to day anew with the new weight I just got on the scales and have been told to weigh myself every day. Any rise of one kilo or more means liquid retention.
Have you thought about getting just bog standard scales, OG? I know mine are accurate as my daughter weighs herself at the gym.
I sill think you should scrap your daily weigh ins.
I weighed myself yesterday and was 4lb up, got daughter to check them and she said they were correct. Weighed myself this morning and I'm 2lb lighter than yesterday. That's how much weight fluctuates daily. You're doing yourself no favours weighing daily.

OG I’ve been in hospital with a heart complaint which involved water retention. I’ve been told by the experts that our weight fluctuates all the time. I have to weigh myself every day to measure how much water I have but you could weigh as you do and then divide by 7 once a week to get your average weight.
By the way, I’ve lost 30 pounds since I began my quest in August......that is both fat and water.

Good morning all, I’m down two pounds. That makes a total of 12.7 kilos (about 25 pounds) in 4 months (with help of the diuretics) I’m now used to my smaller portions which don’t look that small. I still get very tempted by certain adverts on the TV.
Are you all being very good so you can allow some food fun at Christmas? Mmmmm turkey dressing!

Well done anyway.
I've just had a check of what I've eaten over the last 3 weeks. I've been very slack in recording as I go, let alone monitoring, and I find myself updating the list at the end of the day more often than not.
For sure, weekends away, when I have less control, are higher, but shockingly not as much difference as I'd expect. I've been within the daily intake target only 3 times, been very close a further twice and maybe one or two others not too far above, but the others are way over.
Here's the problem with losing enthusiasm for something that's been going on far too long. The recording slips, the monitoring does, and one relies on not gorging oneself, but simply eating when one feels the need, and the amount eaten must just rise over time.
I don't understand this idea of not monitoring and just eating healthily; clearly it doesn't work well. Not that I spend ages in the kitchen preparing stuff, but I avoid most things on the high energy list.
I definitely have to find the push to monitor properly over the day again. Perhaps plan better on the 4 days I am more in control.
