Aol Mail

I was one of those recently seeking help when AOL withdrew their Desktop access and am slowly getting used to opening mail.aol from my browser. How can I put an icon for this on my desktop for ease of access? I usually use Edge but have IE and Chrome available as well.

I use Firefox but, to the best of my knowledge, the same technique works in other browsers too:

Go the AOL login page. Click the overlapping squares at the top right of your browser window to reduce the size of it (so that you can see some of the desktop as well). Click on the icon to the left of your browser's address bar (it's a little 'i' in a circle in Firefox but it might be an AOL logo in other browsers) and drag it onto your desktop. Job done!
