Boo,with respect to BiddyBank, the large number (60+) of posts below is not surprising after such a long period of enforced abstinence. In the past, we used to express ourselves here about once a week and I think that is reflected in the perceived enjoyment participants got/get from it. If a permanent BiddyBank is set up, won't that put pressure on folks to post more frequently to the detriment of its quality.

My suggestion is to have a BB section, but couldn't our dear Ed keep it closed all week and just open it up at weekends and bank hols? We don't want to become exhausted!

BTW Personally I don't like the adopted name of BB since in these PC times it has a sexual bias. Nevertheless, I will go with the majority - as long as AB ED gets it actioned.

gen I can't think of anything else to call them. I'm convinced Tunnock's "Snowballs" are smaller than they used to be but the packet says they're not....

Funny you should mention 'Tunnock's Snowballs' - I had one earlier with a coffee Maybe it is failing eyesight that accounts for the apparent shrinkage!. Just going to get something stronger as a nightcap and maybe get to bed before midnight for once.

There's nothing wrong with the word Biddybank, and we'll have no PC nonsense on it. I personally want it everyday so I can pop in and out for recipes, chats at al. Let's keep it normal and fun.

gen2 - since we've set up our own interim BiddyBank, there has been talk of:

• Corsets


• Brown stockings


• Pink fluffy slippers


• Tartan bobbled slippers


• False teeth/steradent


• Washing tubs


• Washing boards

I haven't seen many posts from men, except Vinny, but he's our BB bus driver!

If the men want to join in - they could mention:

• Cut up newspaper for the outside toilet


• Braces


• Smelly sox


• Pipe tobacco


• Roll ups

So come on then lads - join in & then maybe we could alter it to BiddyBankers & OldGits! -x-
