Bookmarks In Firefox

Am trying to put my bookmarks in alpha order without success. This is what I am doing - where am I going wrong. Click on four upright lines top right of screen. This brings up 6 areas of choice. I select bookmarks. Then scroll to bottom of bookmarks and select "show all b ookmarks" Over to left hand side of screen and select "all b ookmarks" then click on views and finally sort alpha order. Where am I going wrong ( please show any part of this process that a right click. Thank you

just click and drag the bookmarks up or down

Here's how I do it:

Press Ctrl+Shift+B (which is always the quickest way to access your bookmarks anyway).

If you want everything listed there (under 'All Bookmarks) placed into alphabetical order, go to Views > Sort > A to Z Sort Order.

If you want everything listed under your Bookmarks Menu (which is what you see when you click on 'Bookmarks' from the Menu Bar) placed into alphabetical order, click on 'Bookmarks Menu' (on the left) first.
