Help The Aged!!

Dear Ed would it be possible to have automatic sign in for AB? The old joints aren't what they used to be and by the time I've typed in my name and password I need a rest - and half the time I forget what I intended to say!
When I joined a few years ago all I did was select sign in my user name appearedI poked it and whoosh, so did my password. So easy, but now it's a real bind, so please could you do something to assist this poor old girl as writing to the Techies was a waste of time as they didn't even reply. (Did I sound pathetic enough?)

Sorry to go all techy on you, but if AB doesn't log you in automatically, it's because the cookie has gone AWOL from your system.
Go to 'My Profile' and put a check mark in 'Or, if other users use my computer ..." and click 'Submit'. Then do the same again but check "Do you want to ...". With a bit of luck, this should re-create the missing cookie and you should be able to sign in automatically again.
