I've been trying to get rid of clutter but all I do is move it about....I only have one newspaper a day so how come there appears to be about 3 times that many? And why are there always pots in the bowl waiting to be washed? I don't eat that much....!
I know what you mean about Mike - that's just normal for me - as you may know brain fog is part of this bloomin FMS. I recently went upstairs 5 times (& that's a trial on it's own some days) before I remembered what I wanted .... and it's taken me 2 hours to recall what I wanted to look for on the computer this morning. Mind you I blame the grotto for that .....enter here and all sanity is lost.
One of the men says to the other, "The Mrs. and I went to the nicest restaurant last night."
"Is that right?" the other inquires, "What was it called?"
"That's just it," he replies "I can't recall. "Say, what's the name of that red flower that has thorns all over it?"
"A rose?" he responds.
"YEAH, THAT'S IT!" he says energetically.
He then whirls around and yells into the kitchen, "Hey, Rose! What was the name of that restaurant we went to last night!?"
Somerfields was packed with old chaps.Pension day !!
I watched Location x3 last night and I also wonder where these people put their things. These places always look so immaculate. There is not a speck of dust and they never seem to have anything to eat and nowhere is a book to be seen.As for the bathrooms there never seems to be any soap or towels! I would have to hire a skip to get this place like that if I decided to move.
Mind you the pantry would be the only tidy place.!!Neat tins!!
I did bung a few things out yesterday though for one of those charity sacks they put through the door. No doubt in a couple of months time I will be looking for what I have given away!!
One day they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me..... I know we've been friends for a long time..... but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't
remember it. Please tell me what your name is."
Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"
You are very welcome to come and tidy my cupboards any time.Tea and cake provided !
Ha, ha, IAP. Mr G also won't through away any sorts of plastic containers or those plastic spray bottles. 'They might come in useful one day!' He likes to decant things into containers - I prefer not to. That way I know I use the older stuff first. It's funny how we all have different ways. I think as you get older you get more set in silly little ways too.
