Is it not because the thread is more than a month old?

Sure ive seen replies older than mine
(like last night and the night before)
Corby has it - threads older than a month don't appear in Latest Posts.

Thanks Mamy,
Thats cleared that one up....

Why a discussion cant go on for a while is another matter...
It can go on for years and some do - simply subscribe and keep checking the thread for any new replies.

Hate to be a killjoy but I'll raise a glass to 'Hell' thread's fall from the list too :-)

Believers in the doctrine generally do ;-)
You would find, if you cared to look Nails, that there is a secret society of posters who use "old threads" to communicate without prying eyes. They even open threads in obscure topics, only to resurrect and then use them to chat to each other. Mostly ex pats who like to save on the cost of a phone call or a text. Get very annoyed if an uninvited poster appears and promptly move to the next "prepared" thread. Have a trawl through old threads that have hundreds of posts with in obscure topics and you will find them.
Not for that reason Nailit, it's the sheer repetitiveness of it and the fact that none of us know.

interesting Togo,
BUT, if they dont show up in latest threads, how can I search them??

Care to apply that reasoning to your own faith?
I do include myse;fm as not knowing if Hell actually exists.

Recently answered is helpful to see what has been discussed and it won't necessarily all be from the past month.

One way Nails is to look at the profiles of the posters on such "threads" and then look at their recent answers to threads that are old but strangely "current". Here is an old thread that is now defunct ... the posters on it are still hanging around.

Thank you Togo...
Nailit, I'm new to answer bank but I'm the daughter of Theland who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday afternoon.
He may never have had the opportunity to reply to you before his passing.

I'm still trying to find my way around the forum to see how it works..
All the best to you.
