Since there is no category for 'Lost and Found' I am posting it here.

Thanks to mycatis for raising the alarm,

Last seen around Friday or Saturday. Slipped away sometime over the weekend and took all his posts with him. None to be found anywhere on this site. Your last chance to catch him is to do a site specific search for him at Google and look at the cached version. No flowers please (until we know what has happened).

This is going to sound terrible and I don't mean it to honest.......but, I for one found the first disappearance of Andy a wee bit odd especially since at the time nicola_red sort of insisted that he would'nt be back! Then he returns and nicola goes missing and he then says that she has left due to personal reasons and may not be back and now apparently he has gone AWOL....like I said sorry to sound suspicious and I know that we can all come and go as we please, however! So Andy and Nicola if you happen to see this then I hope you are both okay and I look forward to your return to AB!

Thanks for letting me know about his disappearing posts - they should not have gone!

I can confirm however that andy is fine and with a new username - not too undistinguishable from his previous one!
