I am taking AB too seriously! I am fed up with the support that Ward Minter is getting on his bigotted and racist postings. I am off for a cup of tea and to let off steam. There are ways of debating issues that don't involve verbal abuse, and I can't see where irony comes into it!!! See you later................................

Oh.. take him with a pinch of salt Gessoo.I used to let things get to me on here especially one particlar person who would argue if old Nick was stood in doorway.Pay no attention.If he expressed these views in public in a bar for example he wouldn't last five minutes. It's because this is cyberworld people think they can get away with being rude and abusive.

gessoo it is annoying when certain people rile you, but best to move away from offending post. I used to seethe and it was only me it was hurting. Not everyone has the same opinion, which I find strange as I am very logical and sensible in real life, but don't get yourself het up. Your opinions are better than theirs.

But Smudge, I only left to have a cup of tea and to cool down.......................everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I am afraid I find Ward Minter intolerable on most of his postings on most subjects. And what has made me cross is his nastiness now to Oneeyedvic (who I actually agree with). My comment was in no way directed towards you or your beliefs, just the way Ward Minter gets away with postings that contravene all the AB rules. So are we still friends, I hope so :o)

I've only been upset on here once, a long time ago in my previous life, when someone (a regular) waited until a couple of days after 30 people had answered a serious question to be nasty. I felt awful but thankfully I had a good think before I decided to go with humour tinged with sarcasm as a comeback. It was 'the strict Ed' at the time & the whole thread was pulled. However, a few days later mr regular got his come- uppance big time when someone far better with words gave him what for in another thread.

I suppose what really upsets me with WM is that I have moslem friends in a moslem country and have spent time amongst those people, staying in their homes. I just hate to think that people are all being tarnished with the same brush by someone as idiotic as WM. I also hate what is going on in the world at the moment, but them so do the vast majority of decent moslem people. And also, who knows, this is a cyber world and we should be aware that any of us could be Moslem, or from another 'hated' group - yes even in our secure little grotto.

Here endeth the lesson!!! It's off my chest. Glad I've got you lot.
