I really just enjoy the times when I can just spend days alone with no visitors, work, friends/family etc to interrupt my solitude.
Anytime that Ive been in a relationship for example, Ive craved time alone.
Now that im single, I can.
And enjoy it.
People (even friends and family) exhaust me.
OK in small amounts but ultimately am comfortable in my own skin doing my own thing.

Used to think that there was something wrong with
people that wanted little to do with others
but as time goes on people and interactions holds little appeal.
Recently attended a family funeral and all the 'fake sympathy' sickened me.

As does the fake family love that we believe in. And the fake friendship love.
(Not to mention the fake religious 'love' from the AB religious section).

Can't do it, can you. You can't talk about yourself without referring to religion. Tell you something?

From today until Monday, 3 entire days on my own...
For me, bliss
For others torture.

Err. Nope!
I like to be alone with my thoughts from time to time. Some say it's a short-lived thing though. :-)
Nailit; if you like solitude, why do you come here so often?
I enjoy my time alone. It means I can read, do my crosswords, use Whats App and drink tea without feeling unsociable.
We've just had visitors for a week and, by the time they were going, were desperate just do our own thing. It was lovely seeing them but it was even more lovely when they'd gone.
I love spending time alone
I love spending time with my life partner
I equally love spending time with my step family
I would love to have time to spend with my father
Short lived or not, Douglas...I'll bet your alone thoughts are more entertaining than many.... ;-)

Maybe it was bliss for them and torture for you! LOL.
Wow. You should turn this unique, insightful and penetrating, self-obsessed musing into a book. You'd buy it.
Amazon and Netflix are currently in a bidding war, Gness. :-)
As much as I love my family, I love it on the odd occasion I'm on my own doing what I want..
I'm not surprised, Douglas. Keep me updated please.
