Alternative Site?
Reference wolf's response in the New Trick thread.
'It was a fun site but the general running and moderation has upset many people. Posts are zapped without justification etc etc. I might need to find another site to lurk on.'
For interest, what alternatives are there out there? And if so what are their strengths/weaknesses?
And how long will this thread last?

AB is more or less a companionable size - depending on how many people you want to communicate with.
But it's really a Q&A site that got big.
I doubt that gulliver. I have just trawled through their Site Rules of which there are any more than on here. There stance on trolls ,if sincere, is concise and you would not get through the door. It's only the mods that allow you to post your pages of nonsense day in day out. Because your trolling and goading generates so many responses the max they are instructed to do is give you a 48 hour suspension. If the rule ontrolling and its definition was applied correctly on this site there would be no need for this post and talk of a max exodus.Your last post was goading pure and simple.
I would really miss AB, it's taken a long time to get to know and really like many posters - and I've often had great help offered. It's the only social media I do, apart from a limited facebook page (I know everyone on it). I agree it's not what it was though and that is very sad.
There used to be decent debates as well, between people who knew the rules of courteous debating.
