Pleased to see you on here again - I was concerned you had suffered another "blip". Hope all is well, chez Vagus x
Chemo has me very fatigued but I am still here ;)

Was only thinking of you yesterday choux, when I stuffed down a chocolate choux bun. Sooooo pleased to read your post and know you're still around 🥳🥳🥳
May I ask what the chemo is for..if you'd rather not say I completely understand, just ignore me.
Weve both had a bit of blipping but things seem to be a bit on the up at the mo, currently snuggled up on the sofa with doggie who's snoring gently, thank you for your concern 😘
Hope to see more of you here choux, I do miss you and wonder how you're doing xxxxx
Heres some 💐 for you because it's always nice to get flowers, and 🥦because it's good for you 😉
Hello girls and thank you. Alba, you are in a class of your own 🍾 xx Of course you may ask, Vagus xx Advanced stage 3 colorectal cancer. There is so much less of me now and surgery was more major than the Consultant envisaged. My life has changed but I consider myself so very lucky. My message to all is get a FIT kit, complete it and post it asap. I received one in the post and did it the same day. 3 days later I got a letter with hospital appointment booking. I did one 2 years before - all clear and had no symptoms. We just never know what can be round the corner. Carpe Deim!
Naomi, thank you. I know I am not out of the woods yet and have other ops to follow. Await results of special blood tests some 2 months ago sent to Dublin. Can only thank the wonderful teams who have cared for me at 5 hospitals (so far) and, of course, my dear friend who has cared for me since September and taken me into her home.
Oh no choux, I'm so very, very sorry to read this, as if you haven't had enough going on in the last 12 months. And two more ops to look forward to too, oh my 🙁
Chemo can be brutal but if it does the trick, which I most sincerely hope it does, then it'll be worth it. What a lovely friend you have, not many would do that, she must be very special, but you must be very special to her too.
keep your chin up young lady, and keep on keeping on, it'll soon be summer, you'll feel some sun on your face again 🌞 and maybe the chemo will be finished 🤞
Sending much love and support to one of the nicest people here 😘❤️🌸🌷
Vagus, Patsy and Lie-in King, thank you for your kind wishes xxx
Following my post concerning outstanding blood tests results above, I had a phone call that afternoon. There are other tumours, unsurprisingly, which will be addressed after chemo is completed. I was informed shortly after my op that lymph nodes were affected by the cancer so I have been prepared since then. On the up-side I am, apparently, in a special 5% of the population with this type of cancer. It is offical - choux is special 😉 Team-choux will continue to take it one-day-at-a-time x
