Why is my question from last weekend 'locked' in Suggestions? It was asking about the removal of a pertinent enquiry in Suggs about the fate of CB from an absentee user.

dot - you'd have to ask AB Ed why it's locked. Why not contact her personally rather than in the Suggestions category, which seems to have become a 'Dear Ed/free-for-all/post anything you like here' category just recently.

I didn't get back to you on your original thread but, ultimately, that ABer's question wasn't a Suggestion - which is what this category is all about, supposedly - and hence why it was probably reported/removed and not reinstated.

There is a 'contact us' facility at the bottom of the page which I would think could be better utilised by ABers going by some of the contributions in this category lately, a lot of which seem to be general enquiries.

I couldn't agree more with regard to the Contact Us facility.

Just me being lazy then
I believe Q's in Suggestions are left open a while for comment, but once AB Ed herself has replied with a nice pink square, there's no more to be said, so the conversation is regarded as terminated and the door is locked.

That is a fair enough answer jno, no patronising or riducule there, thank you.
you are most welcome.
Where's the 'patronising' and 'riducule' (sic)?

Hi dot

Ditto to what jno said i/e some threads are locked after moderator/ED responds, if you need to comment further just email the Editor. Geesh, that was easy!

Cheers ed will do.

Genesis, the ridicule is right there then isn't it, a simple typo d'you not reckon? And your tone was patronising though of course it may not have been the intention.
