...would it be possible to give the Chief Censor Monk a kick, and ask him to add 'cck' to his hand-written scroll containing the list of words to ignore?

We can write 'crap' and some other words without risk of censure, but try talking about Alfred Hitchcck in Films & TV, the male bird of a species in Animals & Nature, or trouble with your cistern and ballcck in Home & Garden and the mad monk pounces immediately, crossing out all the letters connected to the offending word with his quill.

All this does is draw attention to it, and leaves people imagining that it was an even worse word being censored.

Ohh, I really wanted some ****-a-leekie soup.

Stevie - I think you are confusing your coqs.Easy done.Glad to have been of assistance to you in the advancement of your education of the 'birds and bees'.

Just ask if there is any other way I can help:)

Dris, your help is most appreciated.

Your right, it is 'easily done', and I wouldn't want to make the mistake of basting the wrong sort in a red hot oven for 45 minutes! Never mind plucking it first!

BTW - I'm just ignoring your subtle wind-up.I have noticed but I'm not rising to the bait.

Good girl, Dris, who says you can't teach an old *** new tricks?

I have a good teacher. My previous post confirms it.

Always makes me laugh when someone mentions a hit from the 80's.

What a load of **** and **** ....oh sorry - yes, thank you for the suggestion brachiopod - will look into it....
