Running google spellcheck. ABupgarde?

I am pretty sure that up until very recently, it was only possible technically to run the ABCcheck from the google toolbar on submitted questions. Tonight I have found I can use it before submitting my answers, by highlighting the answer and clicking on the green tick on the toolbar. I am sure this wasn't so yesterday.

Hiya Dotty. I have always used the google ABC check to check my answers. With my typing skills, it's been invaluable!!
