I think this is a good idea earthakitten.
It doesn't even have to be an extra category .They could have sub headings in Q&P. Wading through the search category over there is like wading through mud.They could have a heading for postal quizzes, a heading for the people who are running them..to give details of closing dates etc and what is current ,cost and address etc. thus freeing the rest up for crosswords.

Sub-sections have been requested before - but we wait in hope.....!

Well there are 25,432 questions in Q&P and the search category is a joke. I feel sorry for the people trying to complete their Quizzes . You can never find that odd elusive answer amongst that lot .. even for the crosswords . Which is why a lot of people don't bother to do a search and then get moaned at because it's been asked before.! You have to click your way through loads of gumf and hope you stumble onto the right one.

I'm in total agreement with you - the search facility is a joke!

I'm also saying that sub-sections have been asked requested before, which would in the long run make it much easier for all.

Thanks for the comments smudge and shaneystar2. A sub section sounds the most logical answer. When I do a search I try and pick a word that is quite different to anything else thinking that this will make the search easier but even that doesn't seem to help in some cases.I thought it was only me, being a recent ABer, but thank god it's not. Anyway, what to do with my afternoon off? AB / shopping Shopping / AB as there is nothing in the fridge I guess it will have to be shopping. Shame !

Should have done as you suggested. I got rained on, blown around in a gale and stood in a six inch puddle.Some kindly old gent backed into my car and drove off just as I was getting out. Nice man! Tripped up the cats and dropped my banana in the water bowl. Isn't life just PEACHY!!!!

Oh well - Tomorrow is another day xx

Hi smudge

Sorry, I didn't see the mail.How are you? Posted my latest Cransley Hospice quiz on here last week and have had a wonderful response.Today we had a client die in there !!!! I suppose getting my car pranged in the car park doesn't seem so important now, certainly brings you down to earth and puts things in perspective! I'm not normally this miserable but I felt quite guilty about getting excited over raising the money I almost forgot why I was doing it.A good cry and an early night is coming up.
